About

I'm a software engineer and occasional writer. I work somewhere on the boundary between applied machine learning and systems infrastructure, though I increasingly suspect that distinction is less useful than it used to be.

I write here rarely, and only when I think I have something to say that will still be true in a year. The archive is short on purpose.

There's no comment section, no tracking, and no newsletter signup. If you want to reach me, there's a contact address in the site's humans.txt.

This site is a handful of static HTML files served by nginx. I wrote the CSS once in 2019 and have mostly resisted the urge to touch it since.
